At its core, LXDY PAINTXRS is about slowing down and honoring the natural connection that blossoms between women artists.

It provides a rare chance for women artists to meet each other at an intimate professional event to share their common language as makers, celebrate each other’s work and achievements, and share and develop resources together for the community’s benefit. Our platform champions inclusivity, mutual validation, and intersecting disparate art communities.

It is important to differentiate the Lady Painters’ programs from traditional gallery openings, standard professional networking events, or typical social gatherings. Our dinners reject the pressures of traditional networking events. We move gatherings out of rigid institutional spaces and into the warm, vulnerable environments of working studios and homes. We bring together recent graduates, emerging artists, self-taught creators, mid-career professionals, and established artists. The criteria for participation are a commitment to one's own creative practice and a genuine interest in contributing to the Lady Painters community.
